There are a lot of events in our lives, and things like a birthday or anniversary, can be very special to someone. That’s why it’s important we don’t forget these events, so we can tell that someone we’re thinking of them, on that special day.

This is not a full calendar, instead was designed to keep you informed of birthdays and anniversaries, of our family and friends. So it shows those events, but also includes holidays, and some other special events. Be sure to stop back often to stay up to date, and if you'd like to share an event, feel free to contact me.

You may also notice birthdays for family and friends no longer with us, are different than the others. Their photo and birthday is still shown, but it also has the year they were born, and the year they passed away. A photo is also added to the Honor and Remember section of the Photo Gallery page, when a family member or friend passes away.

To save page space and cut down on scrolling, the calendar is divided into three sections. The first section is the current month, and it is already visible. The second and third sections are the following months in the year, and next year, but they are hidden initially.

To view a hidden month in any section, simply click the month name. Then when you are finished, you can click it again to close it, or on close, at the bottom of the month.

To help when using a smaller device, there are buttons at the bottom of the page, to jump back to the current month or following months section. It is also best to view the calendar in landscape mode on smaller devices, so you don't have to scroll as much.

Events on the calendar are marked in different colors, to help you identify them easier. Events for today also have a color marker, to indicate its type. Below are the different types of events, which also shows its category color.
